- While you are doing a task type in the Reading section, you should know that sometimes two different task types may focus on the same part of a text. However, they will not be testing exactly the same information.
- When you are doing 'Multiple choice--Main idea of the passage', be careful that your opinions do not interfere with your choice of answer. Remember you are looking for the writer's idea, not your own.
- Diagram labeling----This task type may relate to one section of the text, or to several paragraphs.
- Locating information in paragraphs----These type of questions concentrate on details within a text, whereas paragraph heading questions tend to focus on main ideas. Meanwhile, you should remember that some paragraphs may not contain any of the required information.
- Note completion----In this task type, the word provided in the box may not be same as the words in the text. LOOK FOR THE PARALLEL MEANINGS.
